DRIVING LESSONS

Attire:

ALL drivers/ passengers must wear:

  • Long pants or breeches

  • Shirts that completely cover the shoulder (no tank tops)

  • Shoes or boots with a small heel and hard sole (sneakers ok for driving

  • Current certified helmet
    (No older than 2012)

Lesson Information:

Driving lessons go over basic cleaning/tacking/untacking of cart/ harness. We require that riders come 30 minutes early to their lesson to prepare their horse for riding, as well as untack and take care of their horse after riding (which can take about 30 minutes.)

Lessons are $35/person. Families enjoy a 10% discount!

Continued lessons will cover

  • Walk/ Trot

  • Caring and maintaining the horse and his well being

  • Opportunity for showing in Leisure/ Pleasure, Dressage, Cones,
    Obstacles, and/or Combined Driving

    • Preparing for different disciplines

    • Rules of each discipline​
